VHF Marine Radio Course
($190 pp) – 4 hr session
Use of VHF radio telephony
Understanding and use of DSC facilities
Maintenance of marine radio equipment
Understanding of regulations applicable to the use of ship marine radios
Knowledge of Australian Marine Search and Rescue system
$190 per person (inc Marine VHF Radio Operators Handbook and exam fee for ACMA test to obtain your SROCP qualification)

Beginner Dinghy Sailing (from $320 pp)

Weekly morning sessions spread over 6 weeks. 9am – 12pm

Start Crewing – beginner (from $310 pp)

These are for big keel boats – usually have 4-8 people on board as crew – e.g. Bluebirds, S80, Elliotts or ‘Sydney-Hobart’ race boats!

Club Crane Course ($60pp)
3 hrs course – usually 9am to 12 noon at RYCV
This course must be successfully completed prior to using the club cranes on either hardstand.

Safety issues around Crane use, Lifting gear selection and maintenance & Practical use of the club’s cranes
